lnterBev has been refreshed to better meet the needs of the ever-changing beverage industry. After decades of providing a gathering place where the beverage industry can learn about innovations, see the newest technology and learn best-practices, lnterBev seeks a new direction to continue to grow and support the beverage industry.
The show will be split into two concepts: lnterBev Beverage and lnterBev Processing. Both concepts will co-locate with larger events to further the opportunities for exhibitors and visitors. In this new format, there will be two separate events splitting the lnterBev product segments.
- lnterBev Beverage will focus on joining beverage companies with retailers and will co-locate with FMI Connect, a large trade show event featuring everything relevant to food retail.
- lnterBev Process will focus on beverage processing and will co-locate with PROCESS EXPO, a large food equipment and technology trade show.
INTERBEV BEVERAGE: lnterBev Beverage will feature 100 exhibitors co-located on the FMI Connect show floor with approximately 2,000 lnterBev Beverage visitors (in addition to the FMI Connect visitors). As a separate location on the FMI Connect show floor, visitors will be able to easily identify the companies that have beverages to showcase. Also featured in the lnterBev section will be the Beverage Bar where visitors can sample beverages drawing visitors to the lnterBev show floor. The next lnterBev Beverage will take place, June 9-11, 2015 in Chicago,IL (McCormick Place).
Food Marketing Institute (FMI) is a U.S.-based trade association that advocates on behalf of the food retail industry. FMI’s U.S. members operate nearly 40,000 retail food stores and
25,000 pharmacies, representing a combined annual sales volume of almost $770 billion. Through programs in public affairs, food safety, research, education and industry relations, FMI offers resources and provides valuable benefits to more than 1,225 food retail and wholesale member companies in the United States and around the world. FMI membership covers the spectrum of diverse venues where food is sold, including single owner grocery stores, large multi-store supermarket chains and mixed retail stores.
FMI Connect is the trade show owned and operated by the Food Marketing Institute. The FMI Connect show has been redesigned in recent years and will once again be held in Chicago, IL, the food capital of the U.S. FMI Connect is the defining event of the food retail industry. Everything currently relevant to food retail (including beverage retail) can be found at the
event. It is where all the related industry comes together to discuss “what’s out there,” to celebrate the innovations and to formulate solutions to challenges. FMI Connect is expecting 15,000 participants from 75+ countries, 900 exhibitors across 800,000 gross square feet of
exhibit space and 40+ education sessions.
lnterBev Beverage exhibitors will be able to access the FMI Connect target audiences including buyers from traditional grocery retailers (chains, regional and wholesalers, independent operators and international grocery retailers), and alternative retail formats (mass merchants, drug, dollar and convenience stores and online retailers). Any retailer that sells food and beverage is an appropriate visitor target for FMI Connect and lnterBev Beverage.
lnterBev Beverage exhibitors will be able to present their products to retail buyers who can give these beverage companies access to retail outlets and therefore increase their product sales and distribution.

INTERBEV PROCESS: lnterBev Process will be co-located with the largest food/beverage processing event in the U.S. lnterBev Process will take place in conjunction with Process Expo, September 15-18, 2015 in Chicago, IL (McCormick Place).
lnterBev Process will feature approx. 100 exhibitors co-located on the PROCESS EXPO and International Dairy Show show floor with 2,000 lnterBev Process attendees in addition to the 19,000 PROCESS EXPO/International Dairy Show attendees.
Process Expo is owned and operated by the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA). FPSA is the trade association for suppliers to the food processing and packaging industry and the host of the largest and most affordable food processing trade show in the Americas, Process Expo.
PROCESS EXPO is the nation’s largest trade show event dedicated strictly to the food and beverage equipment industry. In 2013, the co-located PROCESS EXPO and International Dairy Show had a total combined registration of 19,155. The two events took place November 3-6, 2013, in Chicago, IL (McCormick Place) and included a total of 829 exhibiting companies occupying 314,600 net square feet, a 25% increase in attendees and a 20% increase in exhibitors from the 2011 event.
lnterBev Process exhibitors will have access to the PROCESS EXPO attendees which include decision makers in engineering, R&D, production, operations, sanitation, sales & marketing as well as CEOs, owners and corporate management.
